Terroir

Since 2007, every third Thursday of November, Beaujolais Nouveaux and Beaujolais Villages Nouveaux have also been available in "rosé nouveaux" wine!
Made from the same grape variety as the reds, Gamay, rosés stand out from traditional Beaujolais Nouveaux reds due to their short maceration time during vinification.
As with the red primeurs, Beaujolais rosé wines are vinified using whole bunches, but quickly pressed
This promises a clear color and a light wine with virtually no tannins.
