Terroir

It is the largest regional appellation of Beaujolais.
It is located mainly to the south part of the vineyard.
The Beaujolais appellation has officially existed since 1937. And since then, it has been known to all, (thanks in particular to the "Beaujolais Nouveaux").
The soil is a mosaic of terroir composed of granite, clay-limestone, and blue stones.

Winemaking

Manual harvest at full maturity of the grapes at the beginning of September.
Semi-carbonic maceration 5 to 6 days (whole bunches) in cement vats before pressing.
Alcoholic fermentation under temperature control.
Alcoholic degree : 12°.
Malolactic fermentation carried out at 100%.
Aging in vats for 3 to 4 months before bottling.
