Tasting

Eye: Deep garnet red color.
Nose: Very expressive and elegant with notes of strawberry and blackcurrant.
Mouth: Delicate, supple, mineral and fruity. A structured and delicious cuvée.

Serving

Serving temperature: 14-15°C.
Pairing: Cold meats, white meats, cheeses.

Aging

Tasting advice: Eat young to appreciate its fresh fruit.
After a few years in cellars, it appears riper and more complex.
Aging potential: Up to 5 years.

Grape

100 % Gamay

Terroir

It is perched above the Beaujolais crus. Its soils composed of light sand, and thin filter, from the disintegration of granite.
Fine and fruity it is one of the most typical of the Crus.

Winemaking

Manual harvest, at full maturity of the grapes from September.
Semi-carbonic maceration 8-10 days (whole bunches) in cement vats before pressing.
Alcoholic fermentation under temperature control.
Malolactic fermentation, carried out at 100%.
Aged in vats for 6 to 8 months on lees.
Bottling in early spring.
