With the arrival of the 8th Generation (Antoine and Loïc Pardon) at the Domaine, this Beaujolais-Villages is the first cuvée certified organic!
1,250 winegrowers bring Beaujolais-Villages to life, the first appellation in France to use the term "villages." Found in 38 communes in the Rhône and Saône-et-Loire regions, and in three distinct geographical areas, those fruity and full-bodied wines reflect the characteristics of their terroirs. Produced from granite and sand soils, Beaujolais-Villages have an intense color with cherry or garnet highlights, and reveal aromas of red fruits dominated by blackcurrant and strawberry. While a third of the production is produced as Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau, the appellation also holds its own as a wine for aging.
