Le Saint-Amour gives grounds for its granite, clay and shale, two types of wine withsparkling ruby red dresses, floral and fruity taste.Flirting with the soils of Saint-Veran, the birthplace of Saint-Amour is one of the smallest appellations of Beaujolais, expected during Valentine's Day.

Winemaking

• Hand picked at full ripeness of the grapes in late September• Semi-carbonic maceration 12 days (whole berries) in cement tanks before pressing• Alcoholic fermentation temperatures under control, residual sugar <1 gr. alcohol content: 13 °• Malolactic fermentation done at 100%• Ageing: 50% in cask for 8-10 months and 50% in vats, then assembled before filtration.• first bottling in autumn
