Eye: Ruby red color
Nose: Fresh and aromatic, notes of small red fruits.
Mouth: Supple and elegant, it reveals aromas of strawberry and blackcurrant with a slightly vanilla finish.

Serving temperature: 14-15°C.
Food Pairing: Poultry, rabbit, steamed vegetables.
The roundness of its tannins can even accompany fish for fans of red wines!

Tasting advice: Drink young to appreciate its fruitiness.

Terroir

Formerly known under the self-effacing titles of Bourgogne Ordinaire and Bourgogne Grand Ordinaire, Coteaux Bourgignons is a pan-Burgundian appellation covering dry white, rosé and red wines from across the Burgundy region.
An infinite variety of terroirs in this AOP, from the chalky bedrock around Joigny in the north, to the granites of southern Burgundy, including the limestone and marl most often bearing the appellation.

Winemaking

Manual harvest when the grapes are fully ripe at the beginning of September.
Semi-carbonic maceration 5 to 6 days before pressing.
Alcoholic fermentation under temperature control.
Malolactic fermentation carried out at 100%.
Aging in vats for 3 to 4 months before bottling.
